Solar Energy Panels May Well Open Up A New Pro Renewable Energy Horizon For Customers Who Want To Do Something About The Greenhouse Effect.
If a householder can afford the Solar Energy Costs and then goes ahead and has a Solar Panels system put in, there may be a chance that the householder will see this as a positive step towards helping global warming. For this to happen, the householder may have something of a environmentally supportive epiphany, to show them the openings that a Solar Panels system can bring. Once the householder realises the savings they can make from their Solar Panels system, this may spur them on to trying to lower the family’s energy demand to reduce their dependency on their utility firm further.
The savings that the householder can make really rely on how efficient they are at using energy compared to how the Solar Energy Panels system produces it. This may well be important if the family has a member at home during daytime, which is when the Solar Panels system will be delivering energy mainly. During daytime is the best time to use equipment with a heavy energy demand, like washing machines, so that the householder may well not need to draw extra energy from the utility firm, using the Solar Panels system fully and getting good value for the Solar Energy Costs paid.
Naturally the householder would not simply pay the Solar Energy Costs and expect nothing in return from their Solar Panels system. The Solar Energy Costs for a typical family home are around £12,000, for which the homeowner receives a Solar Panels system capable of delivering around 2.7 kW. This output Solar Panels system is estimated to be around 50% of the typical family’s energy demand, so this may well be the primary saving for the householder. In addition the government devised the feed in tariff scheme which pays home owners with renewable energy systems, for each kWh their Solar Panels system, or wind turbine, produces. Also, if their Solar Panels system produces left over energy and this is then passed to the grid, they are paid for this. The total savings and payments may be around £1,170 per year, giving a return on investment duration of 10 to 11 years for the Solar Energy Costs.
On the global warming side this output of Solar Panels system is estimated to save the delivery of 1.2 tonnes of CO2 per year.
